It’s great to understand the benefits of investing, but there’s more you need to know. Budgeting is an integral part of saving.

Any financial planning textbook will tell you to save AND invest your money, and to do it as soon as possible.

You most likely won’t get rich by working hard, although that will help.  You probably won’t get rich by saving your money and hiding it under your bed.
